Foo Fighters do love those cover songs, but for a recent performance at the Secret Solstice Festival in Reykjavic, Iceland, the band added to their ranks by letting an eight-year-old drummer take part. But this was no ordinary eight-year-old, as Dave Grohl welcomed his daughter Harper to the stage.

Grohl explained that his daughter had recently come to him with a request to play drums. The Foo frontman continued, “I said, ‘Do you want want me to teach you?’ She said, ‘Yes.’ And then I said, ‘Do you want to get up in front of 20,000 people in Iceland and play?’ And she said, ‘Yes.’”

The onetime Nirvana drummer taught her one of the more recognizable drum beats of all-time — Queen‘s “We Will Rock You.” Taylor Hawkins cleared out so Grohl’s daughter could take her place behind the kit, with Hawkins pulling the mic over to sing vocals on the track. Eventually, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Nate Mendel joined in on the fun, as the crowd sang and clapped along, as seen in the fan-shot video above. “My days are numbered,” exclaimed Hawkins at the end of the performance.

The Solstice Festival was also notable as the band debuted the track “La Di Da” during their set and also worked in such recent tracks as “Run” and “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” at the show as well. See performances of the latter two songs below.
